The performers, in suggesting both the scientific study of ornithologists and the unfamiliar behaviors of birds, create perturbed  perceptions, unsettling assumptions about what they are capable of. The setting: part laboratory – part curiosity cabinet, a place of melancholy and desire. Choreography was developed through the use of photographs, objects, sounds and video material and unfolds through the distinctive movement languages of dancers.
